Back to analog

In early 2019, I bought a Leica R7 from the Leica store in Porto. I think it was the Portuguese vibes that made me think I was cool enough to work with analogue.

Two days later I found an analogue development workshop in Lisbon. When I arrived, the film wasn’t coming out properly and was spoiled… So I had 20 minutes to shoot a roll to attend the workshop. 20 minutes for 36 photos. These are the results.

I am still an analogue photographer and have moved on to medium format with a Mamiya 645.

People of London

I had the opportunity to take part in a workshop with Bruce Gilden in London in 2019. All the pictures were taken in the London Eastend and in Hackney Wick. I don’t like snapshots, so I stopped and asked people if it was OK if I took a picture of them.

Hommage to David LaChapelle

I think it was in 2018 that my wonderful wife managed to go to a book signing with David and get my collection signed!
