A short visit to Almada

A few days ago I had the chance to make a quick visit to Almada. Very interesting area, also a bit scary, there wasn’t a single person on the street, but I will definitely go back.

Porto

Off the beaten path in Porto …

Fortaleza do Guincho

The Praia do Guincho is a very beautiful part of the Portuguese coast just outside Cascais. For the last three years we have spent a few nights at the Fortaleza do Guincho, a very nice hotel in a fantastic location.

Deep Porto

Walking around Porto in January with my M9M.
***Update*** Unfortunately I have given away my M9M as my eyesight is not the best anymore.

Back to analog

In early 2019, I bought a Leica R7 from the Leica store in Porto. I think it was the Portuguese vibes that made me think I was cool enough to work with analogue.

Two days later I found an analogue development workshop in Lisbon. When I arrived, the film wasn’t coming out properly and was spoiled… So I had 20 minutes to shoot a roll to attend the workshop. 20 minutes for 36 photos. These are the results.

I am still an analogue photographer and have moved on to medium format with a Mamiya 645.
